Tiny Hand

1 min · 1 min left

I hold your tiny hand in mine and kiss the rim of your fingertip the corner of your lips rise across your face and laughter tunes the air.

Your plump arms fold around the back of my shoulders as you bury your round face deep into the hollow of my neck your skin smells of sweet apple cider and sticky bubble gum.

Your breath races warm like summer sun against my skin I gently press my lips against the sandy curls that drape your brow I hold your long torso high on my hip slowly rocking you, back and forth in the warm afternoon breeze.

Your breath slows calm in my ear your fingers fall limp in the air gliding down the blade of my shoulder I hold your tiny hand in mine and kiss the rim of your fingertip.
