What the Body Remembers

Poem 8

As You Are

1 min · 1 min left

As you are Perfection in my hands sweet addiction to my tongue my throat swallows your pleasures

As you are Locked beneath my chest wrapped like lace upon my soul my heart cuddles your warmth

As you are Calm to the touch quiet surrender in my ear my soul captures your simplicity. And now . . .

As you are Vile inside my womb infectious disease to my physique my frame shutters in your plague

As you are Muffled upon my lips smothering my wounded cries my voice dies in your assault

As you are Rigid to the touch harsh casualties secrete upon my soul captured by pain.
